    “The garden was awful it needed the grass to be cut!”

    Obviously we would pick up after our dog but the grass was so long it was a matter of really searching so we didn't step on it and to clean up, not impressed. Also gaping holes in the edges so again we had to put our dog on a spike so he couldn't escape onto the fields next door and no gate at the front onto a lane with cars up and down all day, this is definitely NOT a destination to take a dog, some what spoiled our time at the cottage, two toilets needed attention although still usable. Plus ...

The market town of Stalham, with its high street with a good range of shops and eateries, is a typical North Norfolk town. There is a small market which comes to the town on Tuesdays and a farmers’ market on every other Saturday, as well as regular sales in the town hall. Stalham is one of the major starting points of Norfolk Broads boating holidays and a museum to give you an insight in to the Broadland environment is a must. Just a few miles inland from fantastic beaches, this is a perfect base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and coastline.
