Seaside House

A spacious house for a family get together in an area with lots of activities to visit and a lovely beach close by.

The property met our requirements but a few things could have been improved. A little more kitchen equipment needed when preparing meals and only one wine glass remaining, but there were still 5 flutes. We had to go and buy soap and bin bags and extra dishwasher tablets as the minimum was left. There was a nice touch in the showers with various dispensers but these were mostly empty, so no point in having them. I agree with some of the previous comments - one bed needed upgrading and maybe a steam mop for the floors at changeover. These are just small things that would make the holiday more comfortable. The owner/manager was responsive and resolved quickly an early problem. Overall we had a good holiday.

This was a lovely place to stay for a long weekend in August over the summer holidays.

To take this from a maximum five stars to an incredible six stars, we’d ask for air conditioning to be installed for the more frequent hot summer days above 30 degrees.

Very nice property which was very comfortable & clean inside & good location but the cleaners had neglected the outside which unfortunately wasn’t swept front & back with weeds & dirty rusty table & no cushions available.

This was a shame as we would have sat outside in the good weather. I think the property also needs to state how steep the rake of the stairs is in the listing as my 83 year old parents found them difficult and we were concerned they’d fall back & we had to help them up the stairs each time! Overall though a very pleasant stay thanks.

Was really surprised with the house.

The extra's especially the toy's for the little one - she loved the push along car where a bonus & each couple had there own lounge with tv & came together at breakfast & evening meal.

Beautiful property but not very clean especially the floors as we took two grandkids aged 2 and 3, with them running about bare footed there feet was filthy off the laminated flooring, ended up cleaning ourselves, garden overgrown with weeds shooting out the block paving couldn’t really enjoy the garden with the beautiful weather we had, no barbecue either plus kitchen not equipped for really for the adults we had there and air fryer just big enough to cook for one person but apart from that we had good weather and enjoyed our week in Gorleston

Very comfortable and in a brilliant location.

Clean beach within two minute walk. Three decent pubs with excellent ales within 10 minute walk. Superb central location to visit quaint Norfolk and Suffolk coastal villages

Really nice week away, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.

The house itself was lovely, clean & in a great location.

The beds were very uncomfortable, need new mattresses. Every time you moved the springs creaked & we did not sleep well. Was glad to get home to catch up on some sleep. The table and chairs outside were rusty not nice at all. The neighbour OMG all we heard every evening was a piano playing from about 4-10pm. Then their telly playing. If you like going out every evening then it wouldn’t be a problem.

This house is perfect.

Only 2 minor quibbles- it was too warm! There were 3 TV’s but we found it quite difficult to find something to watch. I’m an older person so it’s perhaps my bad. I highly recommend this property and I wish that it were mine.

Lovely house was clean and tidy, with all possible fixtures, fittings and gadgets made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

It us situated close to the beach, local shops and a park that was perfect for dog walking. The prperty is perfectly located for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. Norwich, Cromer, Sheringham, Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness were all within an hour. Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft were a few minutes away too.

The welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Ideal house for our family, we loved our stay and are looking to book for next year.

Wonderfully situated with easy street parking.

Home is clean and had everything we need for a lovely holiday. We had an issue with obtaining second set of keys and it’s dealt with efficiently by the contact line and owner. Definitely will book again in the future.

Seaside House is a lovely property, well maintained and clean.

It had everything we needed and was in a great location. A short walk to the beach and local amenities. The owners put helpful notes around the house for all the appliances, the two showers worked a treat and the three WC’s were very convenient (excuse the pun). Would definitely consider a return visit.

The Seaside House was perfect for our family Christmas holiday.

We found the place clean, beautifully decorated for Christmas with Christmas tree and great house facilities. Thank you for the christmas welcome pack. We appreciated the gesture. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs. The floor heating was the best andrest of the house was warm to our comfort. Spacious bedrooms and giving room to relaxing and good sleep conditions. We were surprised to find the place so well equipped better than most hotels. We thank the providers for kind considerations in fully equipping this home for our comfort. Walking distance to the beach and shopping facilities. The only issue was the steep stairs and no allocated parking. However, we managed to find parking and there was parking on main road which was helpful. We recommend this place for family quality times. We will be back for Christmas again.

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful property, will definetly be booking again.

There were a few things we struggled with, one being the fridge door and cupboard door opening opposite ways. The wire for the TV ariel was trailing on the floor. Other than that we loved the house and location.

It’s a large Victorian property.

First impression is shabby as the porch and front door could do with a good scrub.front garden is stones and two bins. Kitchen floor was filthy. But we cleaned it. Washing machine leaked. But we fixed it. Down stairs shower drainage was blocked . But we cleared it. Kitchen walls were scraped and in need of painting. We tried to cook a couple of meals but the hob top was constantly cutting out. The settee in the space by the kitchen really smelt

The house itself inside is lovely and spacious it didn't appear to be unclean but few parts could of been cleaned with a bit more detail.

Oven needs cleaning inside also, garden needed weeding in block paving and this was dealt with after calling up caretaker but garden had old tiles stacked up in a pile and garden furniture dirty and no parasol over table. Could with a tumble dryer or clothes line for wet washing. Good points about the house were clean bedding carpets upstairs are clean, plenty of towels supplied, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and handwash in bathrooms also had bottle of wine out biscuits and crisps on kitchen side as we came in.

The floors were really dirty.

Like they had not been washed. There was dog poo in the garden and the garden could do with weeding. We came last year and loved it. However this year we feel standards have slipped. For the price it's disappointing.

Did find the stairs very steep as our party are all over seventy with some mopility issues so do thing it could be mentioned for future customers but all in all we enjoyed our stay in seaside house

We were touched to be welcomed by the tree(s) and other Christmas decorations.

The property is very spacious and easily accommodates a family of six adults and two young children. We found the property very clean and had everything we needed. We experienced a slight issue to which the owners agent responded to immediately and the problem resolved the day after, even though it was just a few days after Christmas Locally the Pier and Cliffs Hotels are definitely worth a visit for a drink or afternoon tea.

Absolutely superb house.

Very clean and comfortable. Instructions for hob would be useful? Gave up on a breakfast fry up. Lovely welcome basket, very generous.

Ideal location for our family with 2 young children and a granny who love Gorleston beach!

Well equipped house with good space for everyone. Manuals for white goods would be useful as we couldn’t work out how to use oven! We would like to book again for same period next year but doesn’t look like house is available

We had a lovely time at Seaside House.

The house was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The house is on a quiet residential road and is a short walk to the sea front. We had a very peaceful holiday and hope to be back soon. Thanks to the owners for the little basket of goodies left behind, very thoughtful.
