“First impressions was good.”
However, cooker not working after switching on the socket. Mould on bathroom ceiling (this could be rectified by using Ronseal anti mould paint, we know this as we have used it ourselves) and mould on the shower curtain(got photo's if needed). The water was only hot at certain times of the day. Cutlery and glasses had to be washed before use. Fridge was leaking because of the drain hole was blocked, which we cleared. The shelves were dirty in the fridge. Welcome pack didn't have clear information in it for emergencies, i.e. hospital, vets etc... Shower heater was temperamental it was either roasting hot or stone cold, no happy medium. Seat outside broke when sat on it. Blind in living room very heavy for a disabled person to put up. No instructions on where to get card charged as there is no Belle Aire shop that we were aware off.
Hello John, thank you for your feedback.
We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the conditions of your stay.
Upon inspection the oven and hob were found to be in full working order (photographs can be provided). The fridge is cleaned after every stay and we apologise that the drain hole was missed on this occasion, no leak was reported by the cleaner or previous guests however the fridge is now clean and leak free.
Mould is regularly checked by our cleaners and has not been reported previously however upon inspection, very minimal mould was found in the corner of the bathroom and this has been appropriately treated (photographs taken). The shower curtain has also been replaced, again very minimal mould found at the bottom of the curtain - this is to be expected with the nature of the curtain, we regularly replace when needed.
The hot water has been checked with previous guests to uncover any issues however none reported. We would recommend that the boiler switch is left on at all times as switching this off would cause a lapse in hot water.
Glasses and cutlery are regularly cleaned between visits and we can only apologise that you needed to clean before use.
We supply enough electricity to each guest for the duration of their stay, £30 was credited to the account before your arrival (photographs can be provided) and this would usually last approximately ten days.
The Venetian blind is of good quality and is indeed heavy to lift fully up, usually this is operated by opening the slats by pulling a very light weight cord. We apologise that this was difficult to manoeuvre.
Patio chairs have now been replaced due to weather related damage and we are working on updating the welcome folder however the owners personal numbers are clearly stated in both the welcome pack and a plaque on the wall in which any issues during your stay could have been resolved quickly and efficiently if a phone call were made.
Thank you for your stay and your feedback is appreciated.
