“The double bed was very uncomfortable, and upon inspection so were the single beds .”
The duvet on the double bed was 13.5tog, which was excessive in summer - especially in the hot weather at the beginning of July. We could not wait to get home to our own bed! Recommend the mattresses were replaced and 'combination' duvets are used.
The area around the outside door was really thick with dead rose petals and leaves, the garden furniture was dirty and a few chairs were covered in bird droppings, making it unusable, which was disappointing in the hot weather.
Some cupboard space for our own dry goods, in the kitchen would have been appreciated too.
Also, the electrical switches were not in obvious places, so labelling would have been a good idea.
Parking was tricky - the gateway was only just wide enough for our large car, and there was just enough space for 1 medium and 1 large car on the gravel.
The windows (velux) were very dirty too.
