Sunnyside

Sunnyside is a 5 minute, easy walk into Wells.

There's plenty of parking, the garden offers several spots to sit throughout the day. The kitchen/diner is bright and a pleasure to cook in. The other rooms are relaxing and attractive with useful details such as very effective blinds to block out the early morning sun. Overall, Sunnyside was perfect for our week's stay in June, during the heatwave. 2026.

After a small problem at the beginning it was soon sorted by the owner, and my daughter and I found we did more walking than driving which was good it is in a good position for food shopping.

We enjoyed bird watching and seeing seals and a spoonbill made our holiday.

A clean and well maintained property in an ideal location, close to a range of amenities including pubs, restaurants, take-aways and shops, all within easy walking distance.

The cottage was perfect in every way - furnishings and decor, cleanliness, equipment , location and it fulfilled our mobility needs being single storey accommodation with walk in shower, plenty of parking outside the door and lovely outside sitting areas.

The owners were lovely and very attentive to our needs.

Sunnyside is a tastefully furnished, comfortable and warm bungalow, which is well equiped and extremely well maintained.

It is conveniently located and has parking for up to three cars. It has two attractive garden areas, which are beautifully planted and well maintained, and are lovely to sit out in when the weather allows. We are regular visitors to Wells Next The Sea, and have stayed in many dog friendly properties; Sunnyside is definitely our accomodation of choice, we have stayed a number of times, and always look forward to returning

Fantastic location with great gardens and parking. Five minutes drive from Holkham and slap bang in the middle of Wells - who could ask for more? We also look forward to returning and know that Sunnyside will not disappoint.

Sunnyside was a lovely holiday accommodation, very clean, comfortable and warm.

The gardens were also neat and tidy and we hope to return for another holiday.

Sunnyside is situated in the perfect location in Wells-next-the-Sea and with onsite parking, you can leave the car there while you head out to exlore and enjoy much of the north Norfolk coast.

The bungalow is tasteful, warm, comfortable and clean. The wrap-around garden will be an added bonus during the spring and summer. Would we stay again? Yes, yes, yes! It's perfect!

Sunnyside is a wonderful holiday home in Wells, in fact the photos don’t really do it justice!

Very comfortable bungalow, tastefully furnished and well-equipped. We had great weather and enjoyed eating outside in the landscaped garden. Plenty of parking onsite and ideally located as only five/ten minutes walk to the street and harbour. Thoroughly recommended.

This was our third visit to Sunnyside, we love this place and now view it as our 'home from home'.

Excellent lay out, very comfortable, everything has been meticulously thought through. Gardens are beautifully tended. Such a pleasure to be here. The bonus was the wonderful weather - heatwave. Lots of places to visit - we always end up at the Walled Garden in Holkham Hall; walk to the Wells lifeboat and look across to spy out seals; lots of lovely eateries but make sure you book if going to the Crab House. White Horse has amazing food. Walk down Staithe Street and peek into the independent shops. We loved it.

Very comfortable. On site parking is always a bonus. We particularly liked the gardens, the bifold doors from the kitchen diner, nice big hallway with room for coats, shoes etc and good storage for our things in the kitchen. We would certainly like to return another time.

An excellent cottage, so well located in the centre of Wells, with ample off road parking and lovely well maintained dual aspect gardens, fully secure for dogs and providing sunny spots throughout the day.

The cottage was beautifully clean with everything we could have wanted. The welcome text message from the owner was much appreciated. Highly recommend !

The property was exactly as described , no negatives other than I wished we had stopped in summer where we would have been able to sit out in the excellent garden.

Another wonderful stay in the bungalow.

There is everything you need or want there. Plus more. Well equipped and spacious. You walk in feel welcome and comfortable. Like a warm blanket has been wrapped around you. It’s immaculately clean both inside and outside The outside is just as lovely as the inside. With different seating areas. I can highly recommend this bungalow. ( but I do need a week to book it myself )

Lovely, clean place to stay. Very well equipped. Lots of thought put into it by the owners. They sent a personal text the day before with all necessary information. My only disappointment is that it's already booked for September 2025 as we would definitely return.

Sunnyside is beautifully presented both inside and outside with a well established pretty garden.

The bungalow was warm and comfortable with everything provided for a self catering holiday or, as the cottage is in the hub of Wells-next-the-sea, all facilities are within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunnyside although we were unable to make use of the gardens due to the inclement weather! We would recommend this cottage for anybody wishing to holiday in Wells-next-the-sea.

This was our first stay at Sunnyside and we weren't disappointed.

The bungalow was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. There was an added bonus of a lovely and private garden that you could relax in after a day out. Would highly recommend this property .

Couldn’t fault it and so close to harbour, beach, town and places to eat. Would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful holiday home - we have already booked to return in August and as soon as booking opens for next year we will rebook for 2025.

Everything was perfect. The only observations I have are that it would be useful to have a rail down to the bottom patio and perhaps a grab rail in the shower. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Thank you.

This is our second visit to Sunnyside and it did not disappoint!

The bungalow is warm, cozy, modern and well appointed. The Owners have clearly taken time to make Sunnyside the ideal holiday let. It is perfectly placed for all the facilities that Wells next the Sea and the surrounding area has to offer. Everything was perfect for our stay and our 2yr old cockerpoo was well catered for as Sunnyside is dog friendly and has a beautiful safe and secure garden. Cannot fault this lovely property!

We cannot speak highly enough about Sunnyside.

Definitely “the jewel in the Crown”. Its close proximity to Wells Next Sea and all the facilities is perfect. The beach, shops, pubs, restaurants all being close by. The bungalow itself was clean, tidy, warm and well appointed, just perfect for our Christmas stay! Our young dog was also catered for and the garden was safe and secure. Loved our stay and have already booked to return in a few months! We were lucky enough to have contact with the owners who couldn’t have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome! We wouldn’t change anything about Sunnyside and would highly recommend this property!

The bungalow is immaculate throughout Everything you would need and more. Everywhere looks beautiful. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. The outside is just as lovely. You can see the thoughtfulness that has gone into into it all It is a really good setting short walk from all amenities. I felt so relaxed. It’s perfect.

We came from a holiday home in Suffolk that definitely wasn't as described very disappointing, dirty, very uncomfortable and breathed a sigh of relief when we reached your house. It is a gem and the garden is also beautiful the best maintained in any home we have used and that is many. We looked to book again next year but missed the boat. See you in 2025 we hope and thank you owners for doing a really fantastic job.

We loved Sunnyside Bungalow.

It has 2 bedrooms. It was was very clean & tastefully decorated & furnished. Stocked well with equipment/kitchen utensils etc. It has beautifully enclosed gardens to sit in and enjoy your stay. It is also suitable for a dog. It has parking for 3 cars. It is 5 minutes walk away from the main Quay area & Staithe Street with a fantastic variety of shops. We utilised the local shops whilst there & enjoyed the local foods, drinks and Craft goods. Wells Next The Sea is a very quaint place to stay. It has a Port & Quay There is lots to do there & surrounding areas of North Norfolk. I would definately recommend this wonderful holiday bungalow and Wells Next The Sea.

We have stayed at many holiday properties but this has to be the nicest and cleanest one we have ever stayed in.

This is a credit to the owners, not Sykes. The bungalow was really nicely decorated and furnished, excellent facilities inside and out. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. Lovely patio sets outside, with extra seats if needed. The owner made contact early in the day we were arriving, offering parking in the drive if we arrived early. Really nice touch as often there is no contact whatsoever with any owners. We have already booked for 2024! Oh, by the way, Wells is a beautiful little place and only 5min walk to the centre.

Sunnyside is a lovely bungalow with everything you need and 2 immaculate back gardens to relax in.

The location is perfect - 5 min walk to town/harbour and 45 min walk/5 min drive to the beach. Many nice places to eat in Wells. Lots of lovely places to visit including Holkham, Blakeney and Brancaster. Hosts also really helpful with gas fire when we couldn’t get it to work - response and phone call to talk us through the set up which worked well. We really enjoyed our stay Thank you.

We have just returned from a lovely week spent at Sunnyside.

A perfect home from home with everything that anyone could wish for to ensure a very comfortable stay. The gardens were beautiful, immaculate and safely secure for our wee furry baby. The bungalow is perfectly placed for the beach and also for all the amenities that Wells has to offer.

Fabulous property in a superb location, very quiet but close to all local amenities.

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a well maintained garden. We chose this property as it had a dedicated parking space and enclosed garden for the dog. Wells is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Lots of beautiful (dog friendly) beaches which stretch on for miles. We visited some lovely pubs (dogs were welcome almost everywhere we went even in some local restaurants). We would have no hesitation recommending Sunnyside to family and friends it’s such a beautiful bungalow.

No complaints whatsoever although Oven gloves would be nice.

Sunnyside is a beautiful cottage to stay in and in a great location to get to everything in wells next the sea .

The beach is so clean and dog friendly with a great cafe to enjoy a coffee after your walk . The cottage has everything you need to have cozy nights in. A tv in the main bedroom would have been nice and there were no oven gloves but that’s the only negative. I will definitely be booking again for the summer.

A recently renovated and beautifully finished house.

Lots of thought has gone into it. Very comfortable, light and spacious. Everything we needed and more, right in the centre of Wells.

A gem of a property situated in a great position in Wells, close to the main shops, Buttlands, places to eat and within walking distance of Wells beach and the pine woods.

Two separate well maintained, fully secure gardens. Modern interior, tastefully decorated. Well fitted kitchen and appliances, comfortable beds, smart TV, Wi-Fi. Appreciated the little extras, including the dog beds, fan, doggy towels and garden umbrella/furniture. Enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked again for next year. Thank you.

What a fantastic bungalow Sunnyside is.

It is stunning, with everything you could possibly want on a holiday break. The decor and furnishings are practical, top quality and beautiful! Wells Next Sea is a beautiful seaside town, with extremely friendly locals. We loved it and our furry, wee pal enjoyed it even more - especially the daily walks on the sands.

A superb bungalow in an excellent position.

One of the best in which we have ever stayed.

Super fully modernised bungalow with a great location within easy walking distance to the harbour.

Very comfortable bedrooms and lounge and well equipped kitchen with easy access to front and rear gardens which both have seating. Wi-fi good and smart TV provided. The off road parking was another great feature, and if you enjoy walking there are several local walks you can do without even moving the car. We would recommend and would certainly make a return visit.

Excellent property, one of the best furnished and equipped we have stayed in.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our dog the week before; it would have been ideal for him. Lovely walks on the coastal path and Holkham Hall worth a visit. Decided to come again next year.

This holiday home was perfect.

Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, sitting room was spacious with relaxing seating. Well positioned in Wells. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Sunnyside.

Sunnyside is well situated in the middle of Wells with excellent parking which is extremely useful.

There is easy access to the local shops, pubs, quay and beach. The bungalow is very clean, well-decorated and comfortable, providing a high standard of accommodation and facilities. The property is very dog friendly with the two secure gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I had a lovely stay here and the bungalow is clearly loved by the owners.

The kitchen has everything you need and thank you for the welcome bits. The two gardens are well kept and delightful. It’s only a few minutes to the shops or the quay . The only downside personally is I found the bed uncomfortable but that is because the mattress is firm and NOT because the mattress is ditched ( there is a huge difference). The place has a lovely ambience, a very peaceful feel in side and I would not hesitate to recommend Sunnyside.

What a lovely property.

Very well located in Wells to be accessible to shops, quay, beach & pubs. The bungalow is extremely comfortable and the gas fire made the living room extremely cosy on cold/wet afternoons and evenings. The property is well decorated and extremely well equipped. The 2 gardens will be lovely in summer months, and ample parking was really helpful too. Very clean & really cosy.

What can I say about Sunnyside!

We’ve stayed in Wells many, many times and never found such a beautiful property! It’s decorated beautifully and they’ve really taken the time to think about what people need from a holiday let! Finding a bed guard waiting for our two year old was amazing and really let us relax at night knowing he wasn’t going to roll off the side of the bed! It’s a beautiful property and I can’t wait to book again!

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Sunnyside.

Perfect for 2 adults, 2 children and small dog. The furniture and decor was in very condition and the property stayed snug and warm. Garden was secure for the dog and parking was enough for 3 cars. 2 minute walk into Wells and in a quiet area. Highly recommend.

Sunnyside is a fabulous holiday bungalow.

The location in Wells is very central, with the added bonus of private parking and a lovely garden. It is very stylish and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a comfortable clean and well equipped property that offers a great location for a holiday based in Wells.

The two gardens offer great outside space for both human and canine holidaymakers. With every facility carefully provided and planned we would highly recommend this property. We had a lovely holiday.

Sunnyside is a little gem perfect so clean and done to a very high standard everything you need, beautiful garden and all enclosed which was perfect for our dogs.

The central location of Sunnyside mean it was possile to leave the Car behind for most of the Week!

The Accommodation was extremely clean, tidy and comfortable, a credit to the owners!

The cottage was perfect and well presented however, whilst the cleaning company praised themselves in the welcome letter for there attention to detail and quote "very rarely made mistakes" for us they let the owners down!

On arrival found food crumbs in the freezer, the toaster was full of crumbs (Fire hazard), dirty and stained oven glass door, crumbs under the sofa cushions and considerable amounts of dirt and dog food both behind and to the side of the fridge freezer! Loved the holiday, loved the cottage and credit to the owners but the cleaning company certainly let them down and demonstrated over confidence in a quiet rudely worded welcome letter in our opinion!

Great location and close to the centre of Wells, especially with regards to accessing the Staithe Street shops - good bakery.

Good off road parking, easily accommodating 3 cars. We especially like the two gardens, one for morning coffee & breakfast and the other for afternoon tea and evening drinks. The bungalow was well decorated, comfortable and clean. We liked the kitchen diner, which was bright, airy and well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious too. The lounge wasn’t used much as we were out for most of the day and early evening. Nice bathroom with a good shower, to wash off the sand. Would recommend to others.

We were the first guests in this property, and it seemed as if everything was brand new, which we really appreciated.

It is a beautiful property, very comfortable, and colour schemes very pleasing on the eye. It is in a favourable position, and we would highly recommend this property. We could not find any fault with it at all.
